Job Description

Our client seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead our financial operations in a dynamic paints manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in audit, hands-on experience with the Sage X3 ERP system, and deep familiarity with FMCG or manufacturing finance practices. The role requires a proactive leader who can drive financial integrity, support strategic decisions, and ensure operational eAiciency.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare and present monthly quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with IFRS/GAAP
• Monitor financial performance and provide detailed variance and trend analysis
• Lead budgeting forecasting and cost control processes
• Serve as the finance lead for Sage X3 ERP processes and reporting
• Ensure proper integration of finance modules with inventory procurement and production
• Identify and implement system improvements and automation opportunities
• Lead internal control initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors
• Implement recommendations from previous audit engagements and risk assessments
• Oversee costing mechanisms including standard cost reviews and product profitability analysis
• Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to optimize inventory management and cost efficiency
• Manage cash flow banking relationships and working capital requirements
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable and ensure optimal credit control practices
• Supervise finance team members providing mentorship and performance guidance
• Partner with business units (sales marketing operations) to support strategic initiatives and growth plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting Finance or related field (mandatory)
• Professional certification (CPA ACCA CA or CMA) – mandatory
• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive finance experience
• Prior experience as an Audit Manager (Big 4 experience is a strong advantage)
• Industry experience in paints FMCG or manufacturing
• Proficient in Sage X3 ERP – required
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling &amp
• BI tools (e.g. Power BI)
